INTERNATIONAL PRAYER POINTS:
“…you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8
Many Rajput cities and individual homes are surrounded by walls with large gates. Pray that the gates would be thrown open wide and that the “King of Glory”, Jesus Christ would be welcomed as Lord and Savior into Rajput families.

Dominican Republic Mission Trip
June 10 – 17, 2010
For the 2010 project, a team of 16 will be heading back to the town of Cabral to put the finishing touches on the church we built in 2008. Construction projects planned include painting, building pews, putting in doors and windows, tiling the floor, putting up fans, doing a walkway between buildings, and possibly installing a baptismal. The wonderful people of the Cabral community welcomed us with open arms and many helping hands two years ago, and are anxiously awaiting our return.
We will hold a bible school for the children one afternoon that will include all members of the mission team, both in telling the story, acting out the accompanying skit, handing out goody bags to the children, and assisting them with a small craft. At least 150 children are expected and it is always a sight to behold!
All of the team members will also be involved in going door to door in the community evangelizing – giving out Spanish bibles, and telling their stories through an interpreter. This will take place every day, with teams of 3 leaving out at different times throughout the day.
We also hope this year to have the opportunity to assist the many Haitian refugees that have come over the border seeking shelter, medical assistance, and food. Just in case, we are also taking a small biblical handout in Creole, the language of Haiti, to give out to these people titled “When your whole world changes”.
What an experience this trip will be! Please keep the entire team in your prayers now and especially in June for safe travel, no injuries or sickness among the team, their time in Cabral, and that whatever God has in mind for this team gets accomplished!
